Tin Can Bay Motel is located 219 km (approximately 2.5 hours’ drive) north of Brisbane and 71 km (I hour) south of Maryborough. Gympie is the closest large town only 57 km to the west and Rainbow Beach is only 31 km to the east. You will use the Bruce Highway to reach us from both the south and the north. A clearly marked sign will direct you to Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach.
We are a short drive from Inskip Point where you can catch the barge to Fraser Island. Stay with us the night before and after you island holiday, we have plenty of room for you to park your camper trailer in our grounds.

Upon entering Tin Can Bay on Tin Can Bay Road, you will see our sign on the right at Coral Trout Drive and turn right. Follow Coral Trout Drive to the T-junction at the waterfront and turn right again in to Toolara Rd. Follow Toolara Rd to Mitchell Street and turn right. Tin Can Bay Motel is located to your left about 100 metres along this very short street.
